Expo 2025 is coming to Osaka, Kansai, with the aim to design our future society and explore how we can better preserve and protect both our wellbeing and our environment.

The theme for the expo is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", with sub-themes of "Saving Lives", "Empowering Lives" and "Connecting Lives". More than 150 countries and 25 international organizations and some 28 million visitors are expected to take part.  The organized events are an active vector for promoting national values at the global level, serving as a channel of communication, facilitating interaction and cooperation between countries, as well as intensifying economic, cultural, scientific and technological exchanges.

For the Republic of Moldova, participation in the World Expo in Osaka is an opportunity to promote itself internationally, as well as an opportunity to showcase its potential in various sectors of the national economy.
